Hello everyone!
As a reminder, I am now sending these emails weekly on Fridays to catch weekend sales.
And I’m glad I made the switch this week, as there are three great weekend sales we would have missed!
I hope you are all enjoying some autumn weather and find some tea you enjoy!
Top Sale
Up to 50% off Select Tea & Teaware at Mei Leaf
End of Sale: November 12th.
About This Sale: I don’t know of any brand that gives as much detail about their teas as Mei Leaf. I sometimes just read their tea descriptions for fun; they’re that good! They also don’t run as many sales as some of the other big-name vendors, so this is worth taking note of.
How to Access: Discounts are already applied.
Has Bret Tried This Tea? Yes! A close friend of mine is a fan of Mei Leaf and has gifted me many samples. I have never personally ordered from them, but I have enjoyed many of their teas!
Does Bret Get a Kickback if I Buy Tea? No.
Shipping Note: Free US (and I believe CA) shipping on orders of $160+. No additional customs or tariffs should be applied after ordering.
#2 Sale
15% off all Pu-erh & Hei Cha Teas at Yunnan Sourcing
End of Sale: November 8th, 11:59 PM (US CST / UTC−06).
About This Sale: Yunnan Sourcing does not run a Black Friday or Cyber Monday Sale. Instead, they offer smaller sales throughout the holiday season. They are a big name for Pu-erh in the West, so it is worth taking a look!
How to Access: Use code PHC15
Has Bret Tried This Tea? I have not tried Yunnan Sourcing. But, as with all of my recommendations, they are a vendor I would personally feel comfortable ordering from.
Does Bret Get a Kickback if I Buy Tea? No.
Shipping Note: Free US shipping on orders over $75, if ordering from their US website (linked below).
#3 Sale
30% Site-Wide at Ketlee
End of Sale: November 10th.
About This Sale: Ketlee has one of the largest selections of Indian teas I have ever seen. This sale also includes samplers, so it’s an incredible opportunity to explore a new growing region.
How to Access: Use code DIWALI30
Has Bret Tried This Tea? I have not tried Ketlee. But, as with all of my recommendations, they are a vendor I would personally feel comfortable ordering from.
Does Bret Get a Kickback if I Buy Tea? No.
Shipping Note: Ketlee ships from India. Unfortunately, they do not cover any customs, duties, or tariffs that may apply. So, it’s important to be aware that it is possible to get a customs charge when your order arrives. They have free shipping on orders over $50.
What I’ve Been Drinking

Nilgiri First Flush on an Autumn Hike
As part of TeaSource’s September sale, I bought a bag of their 7th Inning Nilgiri 1st Flush.
It’s a more brisk tea than I normally drink, but I enjoy it I have found myself coming back to it again and again.
It’s kind of like a Cheez-It for me. The taste is good. But the memory is REALLY good, and keeps calling me back for more.
It was also the perfect tea on a recent autumn hike.
May your tea drinking be peaceful.

Bret,
Tea on Sale
